A Southcoast favorite is on the rise — again! New York Bagel Co. is gearing up to bring its beloved bagels to Acushnet, marking its fourth location in the region.

The shop confirmed the news Tuesday that it’ll take over the space previously occupied by Lloyd’s Deli & More inside the Acushnet New England Farms gas station at Main St. and Wing Rd. in early March.

For nearly 40 years, New York Bagel Co. has been a Southcoast staple, serving up fresh bagels in Dartmouth and Fall River. In 2024, the business got a new lease on life under fresh ownership — modernizing its menu, upgrading existing locations, and expanding into Taunton. Now, Acushnet is next.

The addition should be a welcome breakfast option for the southern part of town in a convenient spot for anyone passing through.
